Skinning knife with Rewarewa handle
Our knives are hand forged using traditional techniques and a coal fire. They are made from 5160 spring steel which a high carbon steel that has been used for making knives for a very long time. We choose this type of steel because it is forgiving and easy to sharpen. This authentic style knife does need looking after. No dishwashers!
This skinning knife is good for hunting and home butchering. The overall length is 27 cm. The handle is made from rewarewa wood with brass pins.
